About the teachers
Debbie Abrahams is well-known for her colourful, vibrant, contemporary designs and has also published 5 books on knitting blankets, afghans, cushions and how to design your own knits. She also runs The Mystery Blanket Club, which has subscribers from all over the world.
Alison Crowther-Smith is a freelance knitwear designer, teacher and author whose work with Rowan as a Design Consultant has given her a great deal of teaching and design experience. Alison has had two books published by Rowan: "Shibori Knitted Felt" and "Little Luxury Knits". In 2011, Alison’s third book, "Little Lacy Knits" will be published in the USA and the UK. She is addicted to Kidsilk Haze, and has a particular interest in accessory design.
Donna Jones is an experienced tutor and Rowan Design Consultant. She describes herself as a knitting "anorak", and is particularly interested in the technical aspects of knit design. In addition to hand knitting and crochet, she enjoys creating her own designs with felt and making textile jewellery.
